Simple Nautical Elegance
We love the simple elegance of Molly and Mark's nautical wedding invitation. Gold thermography is accentuated by the contrast of a navy linen paper. A gold envelope lined with bold navy and white stripes offsets the invitation.

Key West Southernmost Point Buoy Save the Dates
Destination weddings are usually a great opportunity for us to design something atypical, and this is especially true for save the dates. Our clients Mandy and Ed will be married next year at Truman Little White House in Key West, but wanted a more general Key West theme for their save the date cards. The southernmost point buoy worked well in parody format, and is immediately recognizable as a symbol of the storied Florida destination.

Henna Mehdi-Inspired Wedding Invitations
Nina and DJ will be married on the beach in Ship Bottom, NJ in June. We combined hand drawn henna patterns and hand lettering, along with a portrait of the couple's Yorkie, Coco, to create this whimsical and unconventional wedding invitation suite. As always, having a fun color palette added to the overall spirit of the piece.

Romantic Florals with an Original Monogram
Gina and Michael were married over the weekend, on what was the nicest weather day of the year so far! When we began working together last fall, they let us know that we didn't have to be shy away from using color. Purple was the main wedding color, so we used lots of it on their invitations. We were able to update existing floral bouquet artwork to use all purple hues. An original monogram was designed to accent the vines around the invitation. The monogram was placed on a lavender belly band and then used again on custom napkins and matchbooks for the reception.

Musical Sweet Sixteen invitations
Here is a Sweet Sixteen invitation for a talented young lady who plays violin and piano. An original piece of hand lettering was designed to work with the abstract musical scale, and watercolor splashes and hummingbirds added to the dimension of the design. The color scheme was chosen to match the birthday girl's party dress.

Watercolor Floral Wedding Invitations
We collaborated with Flowers by Melinda of Lavallette to create these invitations for our mutual clients Nataly and Matt. Melinda made a floral bouquet for us to use as inspiration for the invitations. A watercolor painting was created and then used as part of the design.

Watercolor Floral & Handlettered Winter Wedding invitations
These vibrant, bold invitations were the result of a collaboration with Flowers by Melinda of Lavallette, New Jersey, for her own wedding. She crafted a bouquet of roses and peonies, which was turned into an original watercolor painting. A hand-lettered monogram further added to the unique, custom look.

Hand lettered, Rustic Wedding Invitations

Kraft paper, cotton card stock, and twine gave this fall wedding invitation a soft, natural feel. Susie and Rob asked us to handletter their first names. We used the lettering again later for gift bag tags. The first letters lent themselves to an easy monogram, which appears above the sketch of their wedding venue, Bonnet Island Estate.

Backyard Wedding Celebration
Typography focused invitations have been popular this year. It's always fun to see what combinations we can come up with to create fresh designs. Here is Jessica and Dustin's backyard wedding invitation and illustrated direction card, using four fonts and printed on Arturo deckled edge, cotton cards. The gingham ribbon with burlap made a perfect accent for the down-to-earth feeling.
