Historic Philadelphia Wedding Venues

Soft pencil sketch venue illustrations are the centerpiece of Nicole and Stephen's invitation design. The nuptials are now postponed until August due to the pandemic, but hopefully months from now, vows will happily be exchanged at Old St. Joseph's Church in Philadelphia, the oldest Catholic church in the city, dating from 1733. We used the beautiful and historic wrought iron gates of St. Joseph's, which lead into the church courtyard, as inspiration for the rsvp card.

The celebration will continue at the Center City venue, Ballroom at the Ben, with a spacious dance floor and gorgeous architectural details. The venue is most famous for its backdrop in the Academy Award-nominated film "Silver Linings Playbook."

Fireworks and Happily Ever After

A fun way to depict Theresa and Ted's wedding day - with bright and cheerful venue illustrations,
fireworks, and a "just married" car. The digital illustrations were printed on metallic crystal white paper, giving the fireworks a shiny finish.

Kimber and Rob's Ashford Estate Wedding, Part 2

An original hand lettered monogram and diamond pattern  in soft, warm grays were the focal point of Kimber and Rob's wedding invitation suite. Their save the dates featured an original line art drawing of their venue, the elegant Ashford Estate, in Allentown, New Jersey. We loved the idea to put the monogram and venue drawing on personalized wine bottles!

Gabrielle and Andrew's Summer Shimmer

Gabrielle and Andrew were married on the second day of summer, and this gold shimmer invitation was fitting for their beautiful, sunny wedding day. We started with an original monogram and then designed a pattern based on Gabrielle's wedding dress. The monogram looked great on custom-printed, gold foil on cocktail napkins and matchboxes.

Mansion at Natirar Elegance

We love adding wedding venue illustrations to our portfolio. The beautiful Mansion at Natirar in Peapack- Gladstone is an example of lovely,  historic New Jersey architecture. Built in 1910 as a private residence for an heiress, it has since been turned into a well-loved spot for elegant weddings.  The Mansion boasts amazing architectural details. Daniela and Erik chose to accentuate the charm of the building and grounds by using spots of gold foil and gray letterpress. A regal ruby color sets of the warmth of the foil. The interior architectural detail of a picture window overlooking the lush acreage was used for wine bottle labels. The bride's father made the wine, adding a personal touch.

Barnegat Lighthouse Views

Long Beach Island, NJ is a lovely place in the fall and a special place to get married. Near and far views of Barnegat Lighthouse inspired Michelle and Scott's wedding invitations. This is the view from their wedding venue, Sea Oaks Country Club. The invitations were printed in deep gold and burgundy thermography on crisp white cotton card stock.

Fall Wedding at the Shore

Classic beach elements with an autumn color palette make this invitation suite stand out. Original watercolor sand dollar art and Adirondack chairs are highlighted with a mix of soft, off-white cotton and warm gray metallic papers. The envelope art is a nod to the boardwalk benches of Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ, the bride’s hometown.
