Sara and Greg's Pastel Palette

We enjoy the challenge of combining art elements that don't necessarily "go together." Sara loved both the florals and the ubiquitous, personalized Jersey Shore benches. Her wedding colors of light blue and pink, as the watercolor medium were the links that made for a cohesive wedding design. We alternated use of the art on Sara and Greg's invitations, seating chart, menus, and cocktail napkins.

Handlettered Letterpress Simplicity

It is always exciting to get an opportunity to have our original art and hand lettering letterpressed. Our friend Victoria of Milkfed Press printed these lovely invitations for Kate and Andrew's wedding. The suite was printed on Arturo cotton stock and featured a vintage hydrangea engraving. We worked backwards, creating the KA monogram first for their save the date, then later designed the rest of the letters to complete their names. Later on, the mother of the bride returned to commission a "C" to complete Kate & Andrew's married monogram. It is shown above along with the two letter monogram, which was embroidered by the bride's aunt and used as a bouquet wrap.

Cristina & Lloyd's Puerto Rico Wedding Map

Cristina and Lloyd were married May 17th in Puerto Rico, at her grandmother's house (pictured on the map). What made this map a little different than any of our others is that the icons shown and states listed represent all the places from where friends and family traveled to celebrate the wedding. The newlyweds were generous enough to share a photo of how a print of the map was displayed with the seating chart we designed to match.

Happy Anniversary to Katie & Nick

Our clients Katie and Nick were married a year ago and were nice enough to send us photographs of how our work looked at their event. Here are a couple of shots by photographer John Arcara.
