Asbury Park Architecture Inspiration

Meredith and DJ's wedding invitation design was inspired by some of the amazing architectural details, styles and shapes from Asbury Park's historic buildings: the Carousel, The Paramount Theater, and Convention Hall.

Autumn Florals and White Pumpkins

An original watercolor floral and pumpkin arrangement is paired with a hand lettering design, created  just for Lindsay and Cole. The use of two varieties of sunflowers gave the pieces a nice balance of color. Kraft envelopes were nicely contrasted with a navy envelope liner and typography.

Wow Factor!

Elegant Save the Dates for Collen and Dan's July 2018 wedding. A bold, geometric pattern in antique gold is offset by a red, metallic lined envelope. Colleen was kind enough to share a couple of her own photos - one showing custom stamps and a shot of the cards, still packaged up and ready to be mailed. She sent them out around the holidays, and the decorations in the background are a nice touch!

Gazebo at Our House

These sweet invitations were another study in monochromatic design. The periwinkle and royal blue shades complemented the gazebo pencil sketch commissioned by Marguerite and James.

Bay Head Yacht Club Save the Dates

A clean, elegant look for Jessica and Jason's Save the Date cards. A watercolor rendering of the Bay Head Yacht Club provides a pop of color.

The save the date design was later transferred to a glass tray and given as a gift to the newlyweds from the bride’s parents.

Illustrated Map Wedding Invitations

Danielle and Michael's Illustrated Map wedding invitation suite features custom handlettering and a touch of watercolor to complement the art. Their reception card shows their venue, The Asbury Hotel in AsburyPark, NJ. We included the compass art from the map on their RSVP card, which is a tribute to their favorite Springsteen and the E Street Band song, "Two Hearts."

For the Baby's Room...

We are always happy to hear from former wedding clients when they become new parents. This joyful little watercolor was created for baby Harrison, born on October 1, 2017.

Ocean colors inspired Gina and Gary's 7-7-17 wedding invitations. We created custom hand lettering for their invitation and custom postage stamps. The package was tied up nicely using baker's twine and accented by a metallic Aquamarine Stardream envelope liner.

The McHughs Retire!

We love illustrative narratives. Here is the story of Mike and Mary, from a blind date 35 years ago their retirement last year. Their son and daughter-in-law commissioned this watercolor for use in the invite, as well as for a retirement gift.

A Heartfelt, Nautical-themed Thank You

Jennie and Jared wanted a special way to thank their wedding guests, and commissioned this watercolor and hand-lettered illustration. Prints were made for each guest, and presented at their place setting. The flags spell their names and the date.

Custom Handlettering & a Pastel Palette

A pastel palette of blush, mint and gold with soft watercolor touches, Cristina and Adam's wedding invitation also included custom hand lettering. Starting with a pencil sketch, the lettering was tweaked and digitized for use on the invitation and RSVP envelope.

Kirsten and Walter's wedding venue in Montgomery County is the essence of warmth and the historic Pennsylvania countryside. A beautiful 18th century fieldstone farmhouse, The Manor House at Commonwealth interior entryway provided the inspiration for this watercolor save the date.

A sampling of logos from 2017: an architecture firm, a professional math coach, and a bread company, showcases a portrait of founder's young son, Tod, as the face of the company.

Family, Friends, Fun...and a Few Fairways!

50th Wedding Anniversaries don't happen every day. Jack and Ursula celebrated five decades of marriage by inviting their friends and family members to Marco, Island Florida. A leisurely weekend of festivities in the Florida sun in January...who would say no?
